AbbVie is looking for an experienced Medical Affairs professional who will be responsible for our dermatology portfolio in Sweden. This is an opportunity to join a truly collaborative and welcoming Scandinavian Medical Affairs organization where you will represent the affiliate’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) within the dermatology therapeutic area.  Your position will comprise approximately 50% infield and 50% office-based focus.  As Medical Advisor your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   Be the medical/scientific expert in the cross-functional Brand Team and In-Field Team and provide medical/scientific input to strategies. This can also include cross-functional initiatives.   Establish and maintain professional relationships with experts and academic centers; attend scientific congresses, arrange advisory groups, discussion forums and symposia.   Deliver scientific presentations and facilitate medical education to health care professionals.   Prepare scientific/medical information on request.   Review of commercial material. Ensure that content is scientifically/medically correct and in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines.   Assist in initiating, supervising, and following up clinical trials and driving medical projects.   Lead evidence generation by identifying evidence gaps and initiating, driving and/or supporting clinical trials and medical projects (internal and external collaborations). e.g., Phase IV, RWE, observational and registry studies  We are looking for a person who has:  Relevant academic medical or scientific degree, research experience (PhD) is not required but will be considered as an advantage.   Minimum of 3 + years’ experience in either a similar position as a Medical Advisor.  Alternatively, an experienced Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate, or Clinical Trial Manager looking to take a next step in their career. Proven leadership in cross-functional settings, integrating medical insights into business strategy  Demonstrated ability to communicate complex medical/scientific concepts to internal and key external stakeholders in a clear and inspiring way  Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for assigned therapeutic area/product and in medical research in general.   Experience in a matrix environment. Fluency in Swedish.  Fluency in English is required to facilitate communications between the affiliate medical department, Regional and International Medical Affairs and other AbbVie functional staff.   Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity.   Demonstrated digital fluency, with the ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and leverage digital platforms and internal systems to drive results.  Willingness to travel   We put great importance to your personal qualities and are looking for a candidate with:   Collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to develop and support relationships across the organization as well as with key external stakeholders and the healthcare environment  Sound judgment, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to get things done.   Flexible mindset and capable of dealing with ambiguity.   You should live in or near to Stockholm due to the office-based component of this position.  We welcome your application including cover letter.
