About the Role Collective Health is looking for an experienced Compensation Manager to shape how we pay, reward, and retain our people. You'll partner directly with our VP of Total Rewards & People Operations to build compensation strategy, structure, and guidance that positions Collective Health as an employer of choice — helping us attract, retain, and grow exceptional talent. This is a high-visibility role. You'll work closely with our Executive team, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and People Leaders across the company, bringing deep compensation expertise and sharp data analysis to decisions that directly shape our employees' total rewards experience. What You'll Do Advise leadership, HRBPs, and People Leaders on compensation strategy, programs, and structure — balancing technical rigor with strong relationship-building Lead the design of, and consult on, incentive compensation programs Own compensation benchmarking, market analysis, and salary structure design to keep our salary and equity programs competitive Lead the annual compensation review cycle end-to-end Partner with Talent Acquisition on external offers, internal offers, promotions, and job-leveling approvals Ensure compliance with DOL, FLSA, and minimum wage requirements across jurisdictions Partner with outside counsel on annual pay equity reviews Coach and educate managers on how to use and talk about our compensation programs Support the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee Coach HR Operations Specialists during their rotation through the Compensation team Design and scale compensation programs as the company grows Develop a deep understanding of Collective Health's business and org structure so your guidance is grounded in how we actually work What You'll Bring 8+ years of progressive Compensation experience, including hands-on incentive plan design Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders, including executives, with clear and concise recommendations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable diving into data to spot gaps, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements A track record of managing multiple deadline-driven projects without sacrificing quality Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of an organization High degree of independence, organization, and attention to detail Sound judgment handling highly confidential employee information Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets Nice to have: Experience scaling compensation programs at a high-growth company Familiarity with compensation tools/HRIS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Workday, PayFactors, Radford, Pave) CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification Pay Transparency Statement This is a hybrid position based out of our Lehi office, with the expectation of being in office at least three weekdays per week. #LI-hybrid The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for 115,000 stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
