Northwestern Medical Group (NMG) and Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI) are seeking a full-time, ACGME-approved fellowship-trained, board-eligible or board-certified advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist to join the growing BCVI program in our Health Network hospitals. Northwestern Medicine and BCVI is consistently ranked among the top 10 cardiovascular programs in the country. The physician will provide advanced heart failure care including mechanical circulatory support and transplant within a comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes cardiothoracic surgery, advanced cardiac imaging and interventional cardiology in a state-of-the-art hospital environment. This position will include an appointment as a Health System Clinician, as an employed physician with the Northwestern Medical Group. Practice within BCVI, a fully integrated cardiovascular institute, and provide diagnosis, management and treatment across the spectrum of advanced heart failure, including cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support and transplant. Salary range: $430,000 - $550,000 annually, plus a productivity bonus. Qualified candidates must be board eligible or board certified in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, as applicable; have completed an ACGME-approved advanced heart failure fellowship; be eligible for Illinois medical licensure and hospital medical staff privileges; and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration. Placement within the salary range is based on relevant experience and internal equity.
