Position Summary: The Quality Control (QC) team is responsible for testing and evaluating materials generated within the company to ensure they meet established quality standards. As a QC Specialist I, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory testing, accurately documenting results, and following standard operating procedures to support product development and manufacturing activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow within a quality-focused environment. Responsibilities: Perform routine testing of in-process and final product materials according to established protocols, ensuring timely execution and reporting of results. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation practices, including execution and continuous improvement of batch records and quality standard operating procedures (SOPs). Independently conduct quality control testing required to support product release decisions. Prepare reagents, buffers, and materials for downstream workflows, testing, and experimental activities. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal performance. Execute repetitive and detail-oriented tasks with a high degree of precision, accuracy, and reliability. Effectively manage work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities and business needs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment in compliance with company policies and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support QC operations, process improvements, and overall manufacturing goals. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field required. At least 1-2 years of laboratory experience is required. Strong pipetting skills, including handling very small volumes (<5 µL) Experience setting up assays in 96-well format Reliable, self-motivated and able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks Experience with QMS systems in regulated environments Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $20.00 - $24.47. Additionally, this role is eligible for to receive equity as part of the compensation package. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
