As an integral member of the Medical Imaging team you will perform various imaging procedures at University Health Network. The department features state-of-the-art digital technology and a team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality, backed by a commitment to continuing education and quality assurance program initiatives. Duties Performs CT research procedures and digital quality assurance to support clinical trials Communicates with team members and management personnel Participates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, and mentoring Reviews research protocols involving CT activities Perform other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient care  Understand and follow Hospital and departmental Research policies and procedures to improve technical quality  Registration with the CMRITO Previous General Imaging experience Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification One (1) year recent experience in related area of responsibility Current experience (within the last 5 years) in computed tomography Ability to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situation Demonstrated strong technical skills and image quality Knowledge of basic anatomy and pathology Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a supportive team environment Excellent problem solving and recognition skills Commitment to continuing education Excellent teaching skills Demonstrated good work performance and attendance history Effective computer skills Strong written and verbal communications skills Previous Level 3 CT experience or willing to be trained up to a Level 3 CT, preferred Membership with the CAMRT, preferred Completion of certified injection course, preferred Currently enrolled in the CTIC offered by the CAMRT, preferred Why join UHN?
